Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by doing that some have entertained angels without knowing it.
Hebrews 13:1-2

GOD'S WORK. OUR HANDS.
Welcome to a snapshot in time of Lake Nokomis Lutheran Church. Our journeys in life often look very different on the surface. We’re a community that is different in age, ethnicity, social status and vocation. But we believe that God’s love changes everything… for everybody. Our faith tradition is based on a life-transforming story. It’s both ancient and timely. It’s a story of a powerful and patient God who has boundless love for all people of the world, who brings justice for the oppressed. It’s a story of Jesus Christ, changing lives. It’s a story that brings comfort and strength to people today. Welcome to a picture of that story in the faces of some of God’s children. Welcome to Lake Nokomis Lutheran. ”

I hope this website is helpful as you try to catch a glimpse of what God is up to through the members and friends at Lake Nokomis Lutheran. Better yet, come and see for yourself. We’d love to meet you, hear from you and get to know you - at worship or work, in church or in the neighborhood.
